San Jose Site SeeingSan Jose has a wide variety of Silicon Valley attractions, if you are in humour to shop, participate in the emotions of a theme park, or wants to go a concert; the Wyndham San Jose is always the best. In the Alviso Harbor of San Jose, you can find old, abandoned boats sitting on mud flats. Children's Discovery Museum Visiting the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose where you can expect to prove, venture, listen, prod and tinker. One of the greatest museums of its kind in the nation, CDM's 150 interactive exhibits attracts visitors to explore, understand and enjoy the world in which they live. Kelley Park Home of the San Jose Historical Museum, there is a small town out there, Victorian-vintage, complete with running streetcar on weekends. There’s also a group of people out there restoring old streetcars in a warehouse, and you can watch them and talk to them. Tech Museum The Tech Museum is downtown, this museum is excellent and interesting. The museum focuses on hands-on, state-of-the-art exhibits, using technology to teach about technology. Open Daily, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., $7-16. Winchester Mystery House A very representative house built by the widow of the guy who believed only eternal construction could fend off death has attracted people to the house for decades. Open daily, hours vary, $14-25. (408) 247-2101. Paramount's Great America Paramount’s Great America is the area’s premiere theme park, just a few miles. Open daily June to August, spring and fall weekends, hours vary. $30. (408) 988-1776. Compaq Center Compaq Center is San Jose's premier venue for concerts and sports. Great Mall of the Bay Area Go shopping at Northern California's largest outlet shopping center. |
